Interactive Brokers Group Inc. (NASDAQ: IBKR) announced a partnership with South Korea’s Daol Investment & Securities to provide Korean investors with access to global equities through Daol’s platform.
Under the white-label arrangement, Daol will utilize Interactive Brokers’ brokerage infrastructure, enabling its clients to trade across more than 170 markets worldwide. The collaboration leverages Interactive Brokers’ technology for automated trade execution, custody services, and real-time market risk management, with no ticket charges or minimums applied.
The initiative targets both individual and institutional investors in Korea, offering exposure to equities, commodities, foreign exchange, and prediction markets. Interactive Brokers’ platform supports proprietary trading groups, financial advisors, and introducing brokers, while Daol will expand its service offerings to include derivatives and direct investment options for overseas investors.
David Friedland, Managing Director for APAC at Interactive Brokers, said the partnership aims to broaden access to global equities for Korean investors. BC Lee, Chairman of Daol Investment & Securities, highlighted plans to enhance accessible markets and investment services in Korea through the collaboration.
The agreement was announced on Aug. 25 from Greenwich, Connecticut.
