Humanoid Global Holdings Corp. announced the appointment of Sunny Ray as Chief Executive Officer, effective August 21, following the resignation of Shahab Samimi from the role.
Ray, who previously served on the company's board, succeeds Samimi in leading the publicly traded investment issuer focused on humanoid robotics and embedded artificial intelligence. The transition follows Humanoid Global's agreement to accelerate the vesting of certain stock options and restricted stock units for Samimi under his consulting agreement, alongside pro-rata vesting for additional equity participation awards and payment of accrued consulting fees up to his resignation date.
As part of the leadership change, Humanoid Global will grant Ray 200,000 stock options exercisable at $0.32 per share for five years, vesting immediately upon issuance. The grant is subject to regulatory approvals and compliance with the company’s Stock Option Plan, including applicable holding periods.
Sunny Ray is described as an engineer and entrepreneur with expertise in robotics, embedded AI, advanced automation, and digital assets. The company operates across multiple exchanges, including the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE:ROBO), Frankfurt (FWB:0XM1), and OTCQB (OTCQB:RBOHF).
