Hormel Foods Corp. said Monday it named Ash Bhumbla as its next chief financial officer, tapping the former Tyson Foods executive to take over from interim finance chief Paul Kuehneman in September.
Bhumbla previously served as CFO for Tyson Foods' Chicken and International segments, bringing more than two decades of food industry finance experience to the role. Hormel said he will replace Kuehneman, who has held the interim position since October 2025 and will remain with the company in a senior leadership capacity.
The appointment comes amid Hormel's ongoing executive overhaul. Last month, the company named John Ghingo as CEO, replacing Jim Snee, who retired. The leadership changes follow a period of resilient demand for the company's products despite broader consumer spending pressures, as noted in Hormel's May earnings report.
Hormel is scheduled to release its third-quarter results on Thursday, with investors monitoring the impact of the new leadership team on operations and financial performance.
