EPAM Systems has joined the Wiz Partner Alliance to integrate the cloud security firm’s AI-driven Application Protection Platform into its engineering and cloud modernization services. The collaboration aims to help enterprises identify and address security vulnerabilities across multi-cloud environments, including Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure.
Under the agreement, EPAM will deploy Wiz’s technology internally and embed its capabilities into client-facing programs. The partnership targets sectors such as media and entertainment, transportation and logistics, life sciences, healthcare, financial services, automotive, and retail. EPAM has already delivered Wiz implementation projects for enterprise clients in these industries.
Wiz’s platform features the Security Graph, which maps cloud assets, configurations, and potential attack paths across code, cloud infrastructure, runtime environments, AI applications, and SaaS systems. The system includes AI agents for risk validation, remediation support, and runtime threat investigation. EPAM’s subsidiary White Hat provides offensive security assessments to test whether identified vulnerabilities can be exploited in real-world scenarios.
Alexandros Katsioulis, Head of Alphabet Business and Google Global Business Group at EPAM, emphasized the need for actionable intelligence beyond risk identification. "Cloud security does not end with identifying risk, as organizations need the engineering capability to act on that intelligence across complex applications and infrastructure," he stated.
Eugene Dzihanau, Head of Cybersecurity Practice at EPAM, highlighted the complementary roles of the two companies. "Wiz provides the system of record for security risk and EPAM provides the operating model that continuously drives that risk down," he said.
