EPAM Systems has joined the Wiz Partner Alliance to combine its cloud engineering and modernization capabilities with Wiz’s AI-Powered Application Protection Platform. The partnership aims to help organizations identify and mitigate security risks across multi-cloud environments, including Google Cloud, AWS and Microsoft Azure.
Wiz’s platform provides visibility into cloud assets, configurations and attack paths spanning code, cloud, runtime, AI applications and SaaS environments. The platform employs AI agents for distinct security functions: a Red Agent to validate exploitable paths, a Green Agent to support remediation and a Blue Agent to investigate runtime threats. EPAM will implement Wiz’s technology internally and integrate it into its engineering and modernization programs.
White Hat, an EPAM Systems group company, will conduct offensive security assessments to determine whether identified vulnerabilities can be exploited. EPAM has previously executed Wiz implementation programs for large organizations across media and entertainment, transport and logistics, life sciences and healthcare, financial services, automotive and retail sectors.
The collaboration addresses a critical gap in cloud security, where risk identification alone is insufficient without engineering capacity to act on that intelligence in complex applications and infrastructures, according to Alexandros Katsioulis, Head of Alphabet Business and Google Global Business Group at EPAM Systems. "Cloud security does not end with risk identification, as organizations require engineering capacity to act on that intelligence in complex applications and infrastructures," Katsioulis said.
Eugene Dzihanau, Head of Cybersecurity Practice at EPAM Systems, emphasized the complementary nature of the partnership. "Wiz provides the security risk registry system, and EPAM Systems delivers the operational model that continuously reduces that risk," Dzihanau said.
