EFG International has appointed Ranjit Khanna as CEO of its Dubai Advisory Office, effective Aug. 26. The move underscores the Swiss private bank’s push to strengthen its presence in Dubai and the broader United Arab Emirates.
Khanna will report to Patrick Ramsey, head of Continental Europe and the Middle East, as he takes charge of the advisory office’s operations. His appointment follows a career spanning more than three decades in international private banking.
Prior to joining EFG International, Khanna served as head of private banking for Europe, the Middle East and South Asia at Bank of Singapore. He also led the bank’s operations at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). The new role at EFG International marks a return to the UAE market, where he previously held leadership positions.
