Cytek Biosciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: CTKB) has introduced a cloud-based analysis tool as part of its Cytek Cloud digital ecosystem. The new tool, launched in 2022, integrates the flow cytometry workflow from panel design to data analysis, allowing researchers to import data directly from SpectroFlo desktop software and access work from Mac or PC devices. The tool supports systems including Cytek Northern Lights, Cytek Aurora, Cytek Aurora Evo, and Cytek Aurora CS.
The Cytek Cloud ecosystem also includes Full Spectrum Viewer, Panel Builder, Experiment Builder, and the SpectroPanel tool, which uses machine learning to automate fluorochrome assignment to markers. The ecosystem is built on Full Spectrum Profiling technology.
Cytek Cloud offers three subscription tiers: Basic, which provides access to core tools at no cost; Pro, which adds advanced capabilities including the SpectroPanel algorithm and Experiment Builder features; and Premium, which includes all Pro capabilities alongside Cloud Analysis and online data storage, currently available only for U.S. customers.
The tool is designed to help researchers move seamlessly from experiment design and data acquisition to analysis without disrupting their workflow. Wenbin Jiang, CEO of Cytek Biosciences, stated, "Researchers should be able to move seamlessly from experiment design and data acquisition to analysis without having to switch between systems or disrupt their workflow. By bringing powerful analysis capabilities into Cytek Cloud, we are creating a more connected experience that helps researchers get from data to insight more efficiently."
Since its introduction, Cytek Cloud has attracted more than 28,000 users. The company is headquartered in Fremont, California. At the time of the announcement, CTKB stock was trading at 5.68 USD, down by 0.03 (-0.53%) at the close.
