Cycurion Inc. (NASDAQ: CYCU) has been awarded a U.S. patent for a system that automates the synchronization of multiple recording devices used by law enforcement agencies. The patent, numbered 12,711,989, covers technology that triggers simultaneous recording across body cameras, vehicle-mounted cameras and microphones when any one device activates, with synchronized time-stamping via wireless communication.
The system, branded VuLink, is part of Cycurion’s broader portfolio of patented solutions in the auto-activation space, including earlier patents 8,781,292 and 10,885,937. The technology eliminates the need for officers to manually activate multiple devices during critical incidents, according to company leadership.
Cycurion’s recent acquisition of Digital Ally’s video solutions business from Kustom Entertainment, completed on August 3, 2026, added more than 800 client relationships and a portfolio of over 50 patents to the company’s holdings. The deal contributed over $5 million in annual revenue and approximately $1.2 million in EBITDA, raising Cycurion’s pro forma gross revenue run rate to roughly $30 million.
The VuLink system has been highlighted by L. Kevin Kelly, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cycurion, who stated that the technology ensures officers can focus on situational response rather than device operation. Cycurion’s shares were trading at $0.73, up 7.3%, at market close on August 19, 2026, before slipping 2.7% in after-hours trading to $0.71.
