Digital forensics and cybersecurity company Cellebrite has appointed Shiven Ramji as its new chief executive officer, effective immediately, the company announced on Monday.
Ramji, previously vice president of product at GitHub, succeeds Yossi Carmil, who will transition to a senior advisory role. The appointment comes as Cellebrite adjusts its long-term financial outlook, lowering its projected revenue for 2026.
The company did not disclose specific figures for the revised 2026 revenue forecast but stated that the adjustment reflects current market conditions and operational priorities. Cellebrite emphasized that the leadership change and revised guidance are part of a broader strategy to strengthen its position in digital forensics and enterprise cybersecurity.
Cellebrite, which provides data extraction and analytics tools for law enforcement and corporate clients, has faced increasing competition and evolving regulatory landscapes in recent years. The company’s shares were down 3.2% in pre-market trading following the announcement.
