Calumet Specialty Products Partners, L.P. (CLMT) advanced to a 52-week high of $49.27 on Monday, extending a rally that has delivered a 265% gain over the past year.
The specialty products maker reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $1.44 billion, exceeding Wall Street’s consensus estimate of $1.11 billion. Adjusted earnings per share, however, came in at a loss of $1.09, missing the anticipated profit of 17 cents. Adjusted EBITDA totaled $175 million for the period, while operating cash flow exceeded $90 million.
TD Cowen maintained its Hold rating on the stock while raising its price target to $40 from $34. The firm cited strong specialty product performance, a favorable outlook for the second half of 2026, and stabilizing base oil margins. Analysts also noted that supportive renewable diesel margins were partially offsetting delays in sustainable aviation fuel ramp-up.
Calumet’s market capitalization stands at $4.31 billion. Year-to-date, the shares have gained 143%, reflecting investor confidence in the company’s operational trajectory despite the quarterly loss. InvestingPro data indicates the stock is trading above fair value, ranking among the most overvalued equities in the market. The platform also highlights that Calumet has yet to achieve profitability over the trailing twelve months, though analysts project earnings recovery in the current year.
