Aon plc, a professional services firm offering risk management and human capital solutions to clients in more than 120 countries, has appointed Jane Drummond as its Global Chief Commercial Officer. The role will be based in Dublin, with Aon’s Executive Committee headquartered in Chicago, and Drummond will assume the position on January 1, 2027.
In her new capacity, Drummond will lead Aon’s global go-to-market strategy, sales execution and growth across the company’s Global Solution Lines. She will also chair the Global Growth Committee, which includes regional and solution‑line Chief Commercial Officers as well as leaders from sales enablement, marketing and bid/proposal management. Drummond will report to Andy Marcell, Deputy CEO and Senior Executive Vice President for Risk Capital and Human Capital, and will sit on the Aon Executive Committee.
Drummond succeeds Anne Corona, who became Chief Executive Officer of Aon’s North America division in March 2026. She joined Aon in 2009 and brings more than 25 years of experience in the risk and insurance industry. Prior to this appointment, Drummond served as Chief Commercial Officer for the Asia‑Pacific region, where she worked with sales leaders and country CEOs on new business development, client relationships and oversight of the Strategic Account Management team and the Aon Global Client Network.
The company’s stock, traded under the ticker AON on the NYSE, was quoted at 295.64 U.S. dollars, down 0.41 dollars or 0.14 percent as of the close on September 21.
