Vertical Data Signs LOI for $192 Million GPU Cluster Deployment

Vertical Data Inc. has signed a non-binding letter of intent to provide a $192.1 million GPU cluster to a global artificial intelligence developer. The agreement, structured as a five-year take-or-pay contract, includes fixed-rate and deposit obligations covering the full contracted compute and storage capacity. Under the LOI, Vertical Data will deploy 128 NVIDIA HGX B300 servers equipped with 1,024 NVIDIA B300 Blackwell Ultra GPUs, forming a single-tenant cluster with multi-petabyte storage and 24/7 managed engineering support. The infrastructure is intended to meet SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 and GDPR compliance standards. Service is targeted to begin in the first quarter of 2027, while a definitive Master Services Agreement is expected to be finalized in the near term. The company noted that the deployment will span locations in Las Vegas, Western Europe and the European Economic Area. Vertical Data also highlighted its related platforms VerticalData.io for enterprise GPU provisioning, GPUfinancing.com for structured financing arrangements, and Vertical Edge for data center equity holdings. Chief Executive Officer Deven Soni stated that the $192 million commitment validates the firm’s turnkey capacity strategy as meeting market demand.
