CGI, a global technology and professional services firm, has announced the acquisition of Callibrity, a technology consulting firm. The acquisition is expected to close on September 8, 2026. The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Callibrity, founded in 2007, specializes in enterprise AI, platform engineering, and digital product development. The firm serves commercial industries including financial services, insurance, and manufacturing. The acquisition will add 120 consultants to CGI's workforce and expand its operations in the Cincinnati metro market.
CGI, with over 94,000 consultants and professionals globally, reported revenue of CA$15.91 billion in fiscal 2025. Vijay Srinivasan, President of U.S. Commercial and State Government operations at CGI, stated that Cincinnati represents an exciting market for CGI and an opportunity to further establish its presence with a highly respected team that shares the company's commitment to delivering meaningful outcomes for clients.
Gary Howard, CEO of Callibrity, expressed that joining CGI will allow the firm to build on its successes while expanding its offerings to clients and employees. The acquisition is part of CGI's strategy to enhance its market position and service capabilities in key regions.
