The Indian rupee has seen a sharp rise, with the USD/INR currency pair falling 0.6% to 94.408 rupees. This comes after the pair had reached a record high of 96.965. The recovery is driven by a surge in Foreign Currency Non-Resident Bank (FCNR-B) deposits, which exceeded market expectations.
