Allegion appoints Serge Zappone as International President, effective 2027

Allegion plc (NYSE:ALLE) said Serge Zappone will become President of its International segment on Jan. 1, 2027. He will join the executive leadership team and report directly to President and CEO John H. Stone.

Zappone, who has been with Allegion since 2020, currently leads the company’s Asia‑Pacific business. He has more than three decades of experience in the building‑products sector and has held senior roles across Europe and Asia. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Monash University and an MBA from Melbourne Business School.

Tim Eckersley, who has served 40 years in the security‑solutions industry and led Allegion International since its creation in Jan. 2021, will retire on Dec. 31, 2026. He will work alongside Zappone during the transition period to ensure continuity.

Allegion, a Dublin‑based manufacturer of locks, door closers, exit devices, steel doors, frames and access‑control systems, reported $4.1 billion in revenue for 2025. The company was spun off from Ingersoll Rand in 2013 and has since expanded its global footprint across residential, commercial and industrial markets.
