State-owned investment firm Solidium Oy announced on Monday that its ownership in Finnish insurance group Sampo plc has fallen to 3.55% of both shares and voting rights. The reduction brings the stake below the 5% level that triggers additional reporting requirements.
Solidium now holds 94,392,900 A shares of Sampo. In its earlier filing the investor reported a 9.95% shareholding and 9.87% voting power. Sampo’s total share capital comprises 2,655,674,826 shares, of which 2,654,674,826 are A shares and 1,000,000 are B shares. Each A share carries one vote, while each B share carries five votes, resulting in a total of 2,659,674,826 voting rights.
