Life Time Group Holdings Inc. (NYSE: LTH) reported a 9% year-over-year increase in enrollment for its ARORA fitness classes in 2025 compared with 2024, continuing growth for the program aimed at adults aged 55 and older.
ARORA, which launched in 2022, is offered at most of the company's more than 195 athletic country clubs across the U.S. and Canada. The program includes strength training, mobility exercises, pickleball, swimming, educational workshops and social activities such as coffee clubs and game groups. ARORA-certified personal trainers receive specialized education in healthy aging, and the company also offers ARORA Fit small-group training sessions.
Average class size has grown from nine participants at launch to 22 currently, according to the company. Life Time also provides a limited-access membership option for adults aged 65 and older alongside its standard memberships. The company serves members ranging from 90 days old to over 90 years of age.
The announcement came during Healthy Aging Month in September and was accompanied by data underscoring the demographic opportunity. The AARP Longevity Economy Outlook 2026 estimates that adults aged 50 and older account for 56% of household consumer spending. Separately, a National Institutes of Health study found that adults who meet aerobic physical activity guidelines face a 13% lower risk of death compared with less active peers.
"We see people getting stronger, building meaningful friendships, trying new things and showing up with energy and confidence every day," said Annie Kragness, senior director of healthy aging at Life Time.
The growth in ARORA participation adds to the broader context of Life Time's strategy to cater to a wide age range of members, reflecting what the company has described as a deliberate focus on longevity programming as its core membership base ages.
