Incyte outlines $3B–$4B revenue floor, pipeline-driven growth through 2035

Shares of Incyte Corp. (INCY) traded near their 52-week high of $132.60 on Sept. 10, after the company provided an update on its pipeline progress and long-term strategy at the 12th Annual Cantor Fitzgerald Global Healthcare Conference.

Chief Executive Officer Bill Meury said the company's immediate priority is raising core-business revenue to between $3 billion and $4 billion, which he called "essentially the floor for Incyte." He said that target is supported by multiple product launches expected over the next 12 to 18 months.

Looking further ahead, President and Head of R&D Pablo Cagnoni outlined a transition plan anchored by five cornerstone assets that collectively represent approximately 80% of Incyte's post-2029 recovery, as Jakafi faces patent expiry. More than 80% of R&D spending is concentrated on those five programs, Cagnoni said.

The KRAS G12D inhibitor 734 entered a Phase III global trial in September, expanding to 200 sites. Combination partnership announcements are expected around the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) congress in 2026. Preclinical data from the trial's first 50 patients showed an overall response rate of 62% when combined with gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel, and 75% with FOLFIRINOX, in frontline pancreatic cancer. Cagnoni said the ESMO presentation numbers would be "a little bit better."

"I think it's fair to say that it's comparable to the best data set that has been put out there," Cagnoni said. "I'm not going to claim that we're better, but I don't think we're worse."

The CALR antibody INCA033989, targeting myeloproliferative neoplasms, is slated to begin a second-line myelofibrosis study before year-end, with preclinical data expected at ASH and clinic entry shortly thereafter. Cagnoni noted the antibody eliminates the malignant clone in essential thrombocythemia patients without dose adjustments — a distinction he said no other current intervention offers. About 20,000 people in the U.S. have CALR-mutated ET, roughly half aged 40 to 50, with about half failing to achieve platelet control on hydroxyurea.

The TGFβR2xPD-1 bispecific antibody is advancing in a Phase III global study combining FOLFOX and bevacizumab, with or without the bispecific. An early ESMO dataset of 45 to 50 patients — more than two-thirds with liver metastases — showed an expected response rate exceeding the 40% to 50% range seen in the literature.

Through Star Therapeutics, Incyte acquired Latarcibart, a protein S modulator for von Willebrand disease. About 30,000 U.S. patients are eligible for prophylaxis, yet only around 2,000 currently receive it from products such as Vonvendi or Wilate. Cagnoni described the opportunity as a "sizable plus billion-dollar opportunity."

Povorcitinib is expected for approval at the beginning of 2027, with trough earnings anticipated sometime that year. Over the 2023–2035 horizon, Incyte is targeting 15% to 20% compound annual growth, which Meury characterized as top-quartile performance.

"What we are solving for is not margin right now, we are solving for a growth rate," Meury said. "We are not pursuing a growth at all cost strategy."

At the conference, Incyte shares were quoted near $121.47 to $125.46, following a 31% return over six months and last-twelve-months revenue growth of 27%. The company reported a current ratio of 4.59 and a market capitalization of $25.5 billion, trading at a P/E of 16.
