Hardide plc received a $1.9 million production order from a North American energy sector customer for its newly developed second-generation components, the company announced.
The order covers redesigned parts built around a second-generation tool design, and complements previously disclosed orders for first-generation versions. The board selected Hardide as the primary coating solution for the new tool design and expects to support the program for multiple years.
CEO Matt Hamblin said the second-generation parts are expected to become the majority of components processed for the customer as the fiscal year progresses, with additional orders anticipated in line with the board's expectations for fiscal year 2027.
Production will be split equally between Hardide's facilities in the United Kingdom and the United States. Deliveries are scheduled for the first two months of the company's financial year, which begins October 1, 2026.
Hardide provides advanced tungsten carbide coating technology for engineering components used in energy, aerospace, and industrial applications. The company trades on AIM under the ticker HDD.
