Estée Lauder Promotes Franz and English in Leadership Expansion

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. said it is expanding the roles of two senior executives, assigning additional responsibilities in technology transformation and global e-commerce leadership.

Brian Franz has been appointed Chief Technology & Transformation Officer, adding enterprise-wide transformation duties to his existing oversight of technology, data and analytics. Franz joined the company in April 2025 and previously led its partnership with Shopify to build an omnichannel commerce platform, as well as a shared-services collaboration with Accenture. He will now lead initiatives targeting revenue growth and productivity improvements, including the Enterprise Business Services program.

Amber English has been named President, Digital & Online, The Americas and Global Amazon Lead. She will oversee the company’s global Amazon business across 13 brands in 11 markets while retaining her Americas responsibilities. English joined Estée Lauder in December 2021 as senior vice president and general manager of eCommerce for North America and is credited with launching the company’s Amazon Premium Beauty program and its entry into TikTok Shop U.S.

Both executives report directly to CEO Stéphane de La Faverie and remain on the Executive Team. The changes took effect immediately and were announced Sept. 8, 2026.

Online sales accounted for 34% of the company’s reported net sales in fiscal 2026, a three percentage point increase from fiscal 2025. Estée Lauder’s products are sold in approximately 150 countries and territories.

“Technology is one of the most powerful tools we have to make that evolution real,” Franz said.
