Shipping traffic through the Strait of Hormuz has fallen sharply after renewed attacks in the Middle East, according to data from Kpler. The number of raw-material freighters passing the strait dropped from 10 to 4.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard had earlier reported the explosion of an oil tanker after a collision with mines. Shipping traffic in the Bab el-Mandeb strait has also declined.
