ZenaTech Inc. said it completed the acquisition of ESM Software, a Boston-based provider of strategy execution and performance management software, as the 13th addition to its enterprise SaaS division.
The deal brings ESM’s platform, which serves more than 8,000 users, into ZenaTech’s portfolio. ESM’s software unifies four connected products: ESM+Strategy for strategic planning and reporting, ESM+OKRs for quarterly goal management, ESM+Perform for linking employee performance to strategy, and ESM+Cyber for cybersecurity, risk and compliance programs.
ESM’s customer base spans government, school systems, healthcare, utilities and energy, financial services, and retail across the United States and in international markets including Latin America, Europe, Africa, and Australia. The acquisition is expected to expand ZenaTech’s reach in regulated sectors such as government and financial services.
ZenaTech plans to integrate ESM’s capabilities into its AI-powered enterprise productivity platform, Zoo Office, currently in beta. The company said the deal strengthens its value proposition for government and other regulated customers by adding enterprise-wide strategy execution, performance management, and cybersecurity compliance tools.
Shaun Passley, Ph.D., CEO of ZenaTech, said the acquisition enhances the company’s enterprise SaaS division and future Zoo Office offerings by leveraging ESM’s market presence and customer relationships. Kent Smack, CEO of ESM Software, said the partnership enables faster product development and market expansion, particularly in North America, Europe, Australia, and other international regions.
ZenaTech, listed on NASDAQ as ZENA, FSE as 49Q, and BMV as ZENA, did not disclose financial terms of the acquisition. ESM Software has operated since 1998.
