U.S. stock index futures fell on Monday as crude prices jumped following fresh U.S. military strikes against Iranian targets in the Persian Gulf, while a hawkish shift in interest-rate expectations weighed on sentiment after Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh’s Jackson Hole remarks.
S&P 500 futures declined 0.15% to 7,701 points, while Dow Jones Industrial Average futures slipped 0.19% to 53,484 points. Nasdaq 100 futures were little changed at 29,506 points.
Tenax Therapeutics rose 3.8% in premarket trading after presenting additional data from its Phase 3 LEVEL trial of TNX-103 (oral levosimendan) at the European Society of Cardiology Congress in Munich on August 29. The trial showed a favorable treatment effect among patients with lower baseline exercise capacity, with benefits increasing as disease severity rose. The findings target pulmonary hypertension associated with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, a condition with no currently approved treatments.
Snap gained 4.1% in premarket trading to $5.65, recovering part of its losses from a sharp sell-off on August 26. The decline followed a civil lawsuit filed by Pennsylvania’s attorney general alleging that Snapchat was designed to encourage compulsive use among minors through features like disappearing messages and infinite scrolling.
Miniso fell 6.2% in premarket trading to $9.69 after reporting second-quarter earnings that missed expectations. Earnings per share came in at negative 0.94 yuan, compared with a consensus estimate of positive 1.95 yuan, while revenue totaled 5.75 billion yuan against a 5.81 billion yuan consensus. Management cited weakness in overseas operations, with international markets accounting for 10% to 15% of profit contribution in the first half of 2026, down from 35% to 40% in 2023. Distributor revenue across Asia and Latin America dropped 10%, and North American same-store performance suffered due to delays in intellectual-property product launches and popular product shortages.
Antelope Enterprise Holdings surged 65.6% in premarket trading after disclosing an $18.99 million private placement with warrants. The company is also pursuing a Bitcoin treasury strategy called the "Genius Plan" and filed a $200 million mixed-securities shelf registration.
Pinterest shares fell 2.2% in premarket trading after Chief Financial Officer Julia Brau Donnelly announced her resignation to pursue another opportunity. She will remain with Pinterest until October 30 to assist with the transition, with the company stating her departure is unrelated to any operational or accounting disputes.
