SU Group Holdings said its Macau subsidiary Shine Union has secured exclusive rights to commercialize and distribute the Inspec Spider robotic inspection system in the Macao Special Administrative Region.
The agreement with Green Light Multiplex Co., a Hong Kong-based provider of energy-efficient lighting and smart city technologies, grants Shine Union Macao sole rights to sell and deploy the Inspec Spider across Macau. The robot, which can scale masts and polygonal poles up to 35 meters high, uses multiple cameras—including 360-degree imaging—and AI-assisted analysis to detect rust and surface conditions. It also features wired and wireless controls, automatic tilt compensation, and balancing capabilities.
Green Light Multiplex, founded in 1991, maintains long-standing relationships with government agencies, utilities, developers, and contractors in Hong Kong and Macau. The Inspec Spider has undergone field testing at Hong Kong International Airport and has received a Silver Edison Award and a Gold Medal at the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva.
Dave Chan, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SU Group, said the exclusive partnership provides Macau’s new operation with a competitive edge through differentiated, award-winning technology in a growing market.
SU Group, listed on NASDAQ under the ticker SUGP, has provided services in Hong Kong for more than two decades.
