Stoneridge Inc. (NYSE: SRI) announced the appointment of Uwe Brandenburg as global vice president, engineering & innovation, effective November 2, 2026. Brandenburg will report to President and CEO Natalia Noblet and join the company’s Executive Team.
Brandingburg brings more than 25 years of experience in automotive electronics and engineering leadership. Most recently he served as chief technology officer and senior vice president, Automotive and Manufacturing at DXC Technology. Prior to that, he held the roles of CTO and global head of engineering at Valeo’s advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) engineering organization.
His earlier career includes senior engineering positions at Continental, Autoliv, and TRW Automotive, where he led radar, camera, and safety electronics programs.
In his new role, Brandenburg will oversee Stoneridge’s global engineering organization and direct product development and innovation efforts focused on vision and safety, vehicle intelligence, and connectivity technologies. Stoneridge supplies electronic systems and technologies for commercial vehicle and off-highway equipment markets.
"Uwe is a recognized voice in automotive electronics and engineering leadership, with a proven track record of building world-class engineering teams and delivering breakthrough innovations in ADAS, autonomous driving and software-defined vehicles," Noblet said.
Brandenburg holds a degree in electrical and telecommunications engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Constance. He serves on the board of directors at BlincVision AB and has spoken at industry events including the VDA Mobility Innovation Summit, VECS, and the Red Hat Summit.
