Skellerup Holdings reported a 10th consecutive record financial year on Wednesday, with normalized earnings before interest and tax rising 14% to NZD 89.3 million in the fiscal year ended June 30, 2026. The company’s normalized net profit after tax increased 18% to NZD 64.2 million, while revenue grew 10% to NZD 390.1 million.
The industrial and agri-focused manufacturer said EBIT has climbed 110% since fiscal 2020, outpacing cumulative GDP growth of 8% to 14% across its key markets during the same period. Earnings per share more than doubled to 32.8 cents from 14.9 cents in FY20, supported by a 7% compound annual revenue growth rate over seven years.
Operating cash flow rose 26% to NZD 83.6 million, marking an 18% increase over the previous record set in FY24. Capital expenditure totaled NZD 15.1 million, equivalent to 18% of operating cash flow, while net debt was reduced by NZD 10.4 million to NZD 2.0 million. The company’s return on invested capital stood at 24.5%.
Skellerup declared a full-year dividend of 30.0 cents per share, an 18% increase from the prior year, comprising an interim payment of 10.0 cents and a final dividend of 20.0 cents. Total dividends paid reached NZD 52.0 million. The effective tax rate improved slightly to 5.5%.
Revenue growth was driven by the industrial division, which posted NZD 262.8 million in sales, up 9%, with EBIT rising 17% to NZD 56.6 million. The agri division reported NZD 128.4 million in revenue, a 13% increase, and EBIT of NZD 39.6 million, up 12%. The dairy segment accounted for 78% of agri division revenue, with international dairy sales surging 17% year-over-year.
More than 80% of group revenue was generated outside New Zealand, with North America contributing 38% and the combined New Zealand-Australia market accounting for 33%. The company’s climate transition plan now covers four additional key sites, representing 63% of its scope 1 and 2 emissions. Greenhouse gas emissions intensity declined to approximately 8.5 tonnes of CO2-equivalent per NZD 1 million of revenue in FY26, down 48% from FY21 levels.
Skellerup’s share price rose 0.83% to NZD 7.26, near its 52-week high of NZD 7.38.
