Sensirion Holding AG raised its 2026 revenue guidance on Wednesday after reporting an 82% jump in first-half net profit, driven by strong demand in medical and consumer segments.
The Swiss digital microsensor manufacturer posted net income of CHF 18.9 million for the six months ended June 30, up from CHF 10.4 million a year earlier. Revenue totaled CHF 179 million, a 3% decline in Swiss francs but a 6.9% increase in local currencies, surpassing the CHF 171 million consensus estimate from one analyst.
Operating profit reached CHF 23.9 million, exceeding the CHF 17 million estimate, while earnings per share stood at CHF 1.21. Gross profit amounted to CHF 94.1 million, and EBITDA totaled CHF 34.9 million, with operating cash flow at CHF 34 million.
The company lifted its full-year 2026 revenue outlook to a range of CHF 345 million to CHF 365 million, up from the prior CHF 335 million to CHF 360 million estimate. Management now expects full-year revenue growth of 8% to 14% in local currencies, with EBITDA margins seen in the upper half of the mid-to-high teens range.
Growth was supported by robust demand in medical applications, particularly CPAP and ventilation devices, alongside a strong performance in the consumer segment. Currency headwinds and rising material costs were partially offset by efficiency gains, targeted price adjustments, and expanded international operations.
