Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index advanced 0.25% on Wednesday, closing at a three-month high as gains in telecoms, information technology and real estate development offset losses in energy and utilities.
Advancing issues totaled 202 against 126 decliners, with 30 stocks unchanged, according to exchange data. The index’s advance follows a broader regional equity rebound driven by domestic liquidity and selective sector rotation.
Among individual movers, Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance led gains with a 9.94% rise to SAR 11.17, while Amana Cooperative Insurance added 9.92% to SAR 8.09. Filling and Packing Materials Manufacturing Company SJSC climbed 5.51% to SAR 36.40 in late trade.
On the downside, BAAN Holding Group Company SJSC fell 4.11% to SAR 2.10, Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co declined 3.55% to SAR 17.40, and Power and Water Utility Company for Jubail and Yanbu dropped 3.48% to SAR 43.24.
Commodity markets showed broad weakness, with October Brent crude futures down 2.33% to $85.24 per barrel and October WTI crude falling 2.56% to $80.25 per barrel. December gold futures eased 0.30% to $4,680.26 per troy ounce.
Foreign exchange benchmarks were little changed, with EUR/SAR flat at 4.38 and USD/SAR steady at 3.75. The U.S. Dollar Index futures rose 0.13% to 98.97, reflecting a modest dollar bid across major crosses.
