Samsara Inc reported quarterly results that exceeded analyst expectations, sending shares up 13% in extended trading on Thursday. The connected operations platform provider posted adjusted earnings per share of $0.20, beating the consensus estimate of $0.16 by 25%. Revenue climbed 30% year-over-year to $508.4 million, surpassing the $483.27 million forecast.
Annual recurring revenue reached $2.125 billion, marking the third consecutive quarter of 30% growth. Net new ARR totaled $134.1 million, an increase of 28% from the prior year. The company added a record 20 customers with ARR exceeding $1 million during the quarter, bringing the total in this segment to over $500 million with more than 50% year-over-year growth.
Customer adoption of recent AI features accelerated, with usage up more than fourfold in the last two months. Samsara also reported its fourth consecutive quarter of GAAP profitability, posting earnings of $0.03 per share.
For the current quarter, the company guided revenue to between $514 million and $516 million, above the $509.7 million consensus midpoint. Adjusted EPS is projected at $0.18 to $0.19, slightly below the $0.19 estimate. For fiscal 2027, Samsara forecasts revenue of $2.043 billion to $2.047 billion, representing 26% growth, and adjusted EPS of $0.76 to $0.78.
CEO and co-founder Sanjit Biswas highlighted the company's durable growth, noting that large customers continue to drive momentum while AI feature adoption accelerates.
