Samsara Inc. reported second-quarter fiscal 2027 annual recurring revenue of $2.1 billion, a 30% increase year-over-year, as the San Francisco-based IoT platform expanded its enterprise footprint.
Net new ARR totaled $134 million, up 28% from the prior year, while the company added a record 242 customers with at least $100,000 in ARR and 20 customers with contracts exceeding $1 million. Samsara’s base of customers contributing at least $1 million in ARR surpassed $500 million, marking a fifth consecutive quarter of growth above 50%.
Adoption of multiple products remained strong among larger clients, with 96% of customers with over $100,000 in ARR subscribing to at least two offerings and 72% to three or more. Emerging products contributed more than 20% of net new annual contract value for the third straight quarter, the company said.
GAAP earnings per share profitability was achieved for the fourth consecutive quarter, reflecting continued operational discipline. Samsara’s data collection volume rose to more than 30 trillion data points annually, a 40% year-over-year increase.
The company highlighted expansion within large organizations, including one of the five largest U.S. cities, which grew from a single division deployment to a multidepartment rollout covering fire, parks, public works and transit services. Industrial customers such as APi Group and Sonepar were among new additions.
Samsara launched several products in June, including a Bluetooth smart label for shipment visibility, an AI-powered shipment command center, AI agents for safety and maintenance workflows, and voice agents integrated into its AI Dash Cam. These offerings target transportation, field services, manufacturing, construction, energy and government sectors.
Chief Revenue Officer Amit Vyas said large organizations are consolidating operations onto Samsara as digitization efforts expand beyond initial use cases.
