Rubrik Raises Full-Year Guidance on Accelerating Revenue Growth

Rubrik (RBRK) shares climbed 2.18% to $90.76 on Thursday after the cyber-resilience company reported accelerating revenue growth and raised its full-year guidance at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology Conference 2026.

Net new annual recurring revenue sped to 35% in the latest quarter, up from prior expectations, prompting management to revise its full-year outlook upward. Over the trailing twelve months, revenue grew 42%, while gross profit margin held at 80%.

The identity business, a newer segment within Rubrik’s portfolio, reached $50 million in annualized revenue in just over a year, according to CEO Bipul Sinha. The broader enterprise data security business has scaled to $100 million in two and a half years.

Sinha emphasized that the threat landscape is shifting toward “machine-speed, AI-driven attacks,” saying hackers are increasingly logging into systems rather than breaking in. He described non-human-to-human identity ratios of 80 to 1 or even 100 to 1 as becoming common among enterprise customers — a development that expands the attack surface significantly.

Rubrik is pivoting its strategy beyond prevention and detection toward resilience and autonomous response. The company’s autonomous recovery platform functions as an agent that monitors systems, assesses events, generates recovery plans and executes them with minimal human intervention.

Several product initiatives were highlighted. Flex, a new consumption model, allows customers to shift spending across Rubrik’s six to seven product suites. Annapurna addresses unstructured data for AI operations, using metadata to load only 5% to 10% of relevant data slices — critical for handling geospatial, medical imaging and sensor data. Rubrik X was created to incubate emerging business opportunities and support what Sinha called “second and third act growth” beyond backup and cyber resilience.

Demand is also rising internationally for sovereign and self-hosted deployments, including the Rubrik Security Cloud private edition, driven by geopolitical concerns and data sovereignty regulations.

Sinha contrasted Rubrik’s deterministic approach to data restoration with risk-analysis tools that estimate attack probabilities. “I have to deliver every single bit to the last bit right. It is a very deterministic, complex data management, data infrastructure issue,” he said.

According to InvestingPro data, 16 analysts revised their earnings estimates upward for the upcoming period. Rubrik’s stock has traded between $42.25 and $107.91 over the past 52 weeks and carries a market capitalization of approximately $18.4 billion.
