Renasant Corporation named Catherine Mealor as its next chief financial officer, effective January 1, 2027, succeeding Jim Mabry, who will retire at year-end 2026.
Mealor, currently a managing director at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods (a Stifel company), will assume the role after Bary’s departure. She will operate from Atlanta, Georgia, while the company remains headquartered in Tupelo, Mississippi. Mabry, who joined Renasant in August 2020, will retire early in 2027 and is expected to be nominated for election to the board at the 2027 Annual Meeting of Shareholders.
The $27 billion-asset Renasant operates 279 banking branches and service offices across the southeastern United States, offering banking, lending, mortgages and wealth management services. Mealor brings over 20 years of experience analyzing financial services institutions, including a 23-year tenure at KBW.
In a statement, Mealor said she has worked closely with Renasant Bank throughout her career at KBW and expressed enthusiasm about joining the company during a period of growth.
