Renasant Corporation named Catherine Mealor as its next Chief Financial Officer, effective January 1, 2027, following the planned retirement of current CFO Jim Mabry.
Meals will transition into the role after October 5, when she joins the company as Executive Vice President and CFO designate. Mabry, who has held the position since August 2020, will step down at the end of 2026 and later transition into retirement. The company noted that Mabry is expected to be nominated for election as a director at the 2027 Annual Meeting of Shareholders.
Renasant, a $27 billion financial services firm based in Tupelo, Mississippi, operates 279 banking, lending, mortgage, and wealth management offices across the Southeast. Mealor brings more than two decades of experience in financial services analysis, having spent 23 years at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, a Stifel company, where she focused on the sector.
Mealor holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Washington and Lee University, where she serves on the Williams School Board of Advisors. She has also been a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Board’s Investor Advisory Committee since September 2021.
