Real REMAX Group Inc. announced a share buyback program authorizing repurchases of up to $450 million in value or 25 million shares of common stock, whichever is lower, the company said on Monday.
The program, which has no fixed termination date, may be adjusted, suspended, or discontinued at any time without obligation to complete any specific repurchase volume. Repurchases may be executed through open market transactions, privately negotiated deals, or other methods, depending on market conditions.
Real REMAX, a technology-enabled global real estate platform operating in brokerage, franchising, and ancillary services, is listed on the NASDAQ under the ticker REAX. The company operates in more than 120 countries and territories, with a network of 180,000 agents, including over 100,000 in the United States and Canada.
In a statement, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Tamir Poleg said the authorization reflects the board’s confidence in the company’s long-term strategy and commitment to balanced capital allocation. Poleg added that the group remains focused on disciplined investment in innovation, agent support, and long-term value creation for stakeholders, including deleveraging and share repurchases.
