Quanta Services Inc. (NYSE: PWR) announced the appointment of Ellen Rubin to its board of directors on September 9, 2026.
Rubin, who has served as an operating partner at Glasswing Ventures LLC, a venture capital firm focused on artificial intelligence and frontier technologies, since January 2025, brings a track record spanning cloud computing and AI software development.
She previously founded and led ClearSky Data Inc., an enterprise hybrid cloud storage company, from January 2014 to December 2019. From January 2020 to June 2021, she served as general manager of hybrid cloud storage services at Amazon Web Services, the cloud division of Amazon.com Inc. She also co-founded Causely Inc., an AI software company, where she served as chief executive officer from January 2022 to August 2024.
Rubin also serves on the board of Allegion plc (NYSE: ALLE), the global security and access solutions provider, since June 2023, according to the company announcement.
Doyle N. Beneby, Quanta Services' independent chairman of the board, said the company is pleased to welcome Rubin, noting her background as a technology entrepreneur with expertise in AI and cloud computing innovation, technology strategy and cybersecurity risk management.
Quanta Services provides specialized infrastructure solutions to the utility, power generation, load center, communications, pipeline and energy industries. The company operates throughout the United States, Canada, Australia and select international markets.
