Pinterest Inc.’s shares declined as much as 3.8% in after-hours trading on Friday after the company disclosed that Chief Financial Officer Julia Brau Donnelly will resign, effective October 30.
The resignation follows Donnelly’s submission of her notice on Wednesday, with the company stating the departure is not due to any disagreement over operations, policies, or accounting practices. Donnelly will remain with Pinterest until October 30 to support an orderly transition.
Vikram Naidu, 40, currently Vice President of Finance and Business Operations, will assume the role of Principal Financial Officer on an interim basis starting October 30. Naidu joined Pinterest in March 2024, having previously served as Vice President of Finance at Verkada Inc. from January 2023 to March 2024. His earlier career includes roles at Lyft Inc. from 2015 to 2022, including Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis and Vice President of Finance.
Pinterest has initiated an external search to identify a permanent successor for Donnelly. The company did not disclose the reason for Donnelly’s departure beyond her pursuit of another opportunity.
