PetroTal Corp., a London- and Toronto-listed oil and gas developer with operations in Peru, reported a director-level share acquisition on August 17. Gavin Wilson, a non-executive director, purchased 200,000 common shares at a weighted average price of £0.2645 each on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange.
The acquisition raised Wilson’s total beneficial interest in PetroTal to 735,000 common shares, according to the filing. The company, which holds a 100% working interest in the Bretaña Norte oil field within Peru’s Block 95, has been producing oil from the asset since June 2018. PetroTal’s shares are tri-listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange under ticker TAL, the London AIM market under PTAL, and the U.S. OTCQX market under PTALF, with an ISIN of CA71677J1012.
The transaction follows PetroTal’s operational focus on the Bretaña Norte field, which has been a core asset since its commercial start-up. The company’s corporate headquarters are based in Calgary, with additional operational presence in Houston.
