Norway-based debt management firm B2 Impact raised its 2026 profit target on Thursday after second-quarter earnings exceeded expectations, driven by stronger unsecured collections.
Adjusted earnings per share climbed 21% year-over-year to NOK 0.66 in the three months ended June, while adjusted net profit reached NOK 246 million. The company attributed the improvement to higher cash collections and revenue from unsecured portfolios, which more than offset a decline in secured collections during the period.
B2 Impact also adjusted its investment strategy, focusing primarily on unsecured portfolios while securing assets through a joint venture partner buyout. The firm maintained a solid and diversified funding structure, supporting growth while keeping leverage at low levels.
For the full year 2026, B2 Impact raised its earnings per share target to at least NOK 2.25 from the prior forecast of NOK 2.10. The company also increased its return on equity target to approximately 16% from 14% and lifted its investment target to at least NOK 4 billion, up from NOK 3.5 billion previously.
