NFON AG, a Germany-based AI-driven business communications provider, reduced its full-year 2026 outlook on Thursday following weaker-than-expected first-half performance.
The company trimmed its 2026 revenue forecast to a range of €84.5 million to €86.0 million, down from its previous projection. Adjusted EBITDA guidance was lowered to €9.5 million to €10.5 million, reflecting a more cautious outlook.
First-half results showed revenue declined 3.8% year-over-year to €40 million, driven by growth in AI solutions such as its Intelligent Assistant and Customer Engagement services. However, this was insufficient to offset declines in the Business Telephony segment, particularly in the UK, where the company streamlined its product portfolio and reduced seat counts.
Adjusted EBITDA for the period fell 22.9% to €4.40 million, while reported EBITDA stood at €3.70 million. The company attributed the weaker performance to cautious investment from business customers, which prolonged decision-making cycles for large projects. The outlook reflects ongoing challenges in the Business Telephony market and softer demand for core services.
