IG Design Group plc said it appointed Ari Bensoussan as chief financial officer and executive director, effective Sept. 1, following the planned departure of Rohan Cummings.
Cummings will step down from the CFO role and the board on Aug. 31, after which he will continue to support the company through Dec. 31 to assist with the transition. The board named Stewart Gilliland, non-executive chair, to oversee the handover.
Bensoussan, 57, brings nearly three decades of finance, strategy and mergers-and-acquisitions experience in global consumer businesses. His prior roles include CFO for Europe at Thai Union Group PCL since 2021 and nearly 25 years at Nestlé, where he held senior positions such as head of finance and group controller at Nestlé Waters and director of operations strategy and mergers and acquisitions for the Nestlé Group.
Gilliland said Cummings played a key role during a period of change for the company, including the disposal of DG Americas and the renegotiation of the group’s banking facilities. He added that Bensoussan’s international finance and commercial background would support the company’s efforts to expand customer reach and strengthen commercial capabilities.
