Natera Inc. said on Thursday it will collaborate with privately held Angiex Inc. to incorporate its Signatera circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) test in a Phase I clinical trial of AGX101, an experimental antibody-drug conjugate for solid tumors.
The trial, registered as NCT06440005, is recruiting patients with unresectable, locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors. The study will evaluate whether longitudinal ctDNA monitoring can complement imaging scans in measuring treatment response to AGX101, which targets tumor cells expressing TM4SF1 and tumor-associated endothelial cells.
Angiex co-founder and CEO Paul Jaminet said the collaboration aims to assess whether ctDNA measurements can enhance understanding of treatment response. Natera’s managing director of biopharma, Eric Matthews, said Signatera provides deeper early insight into biological response, potentially advancing knowledge of this drug class.
Natera operates CLIA-certified laboratories in Austin, Texas, and San Carlos, California. Angiex is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
