Mobix Labs Inc. (NASDAQ: MOBX) announced Monday that it received a production order exceeding $1 million for RF sensing subsystems through its RaGE Systems division.
The order was placed by a security-technology provider supporting a U.S. government security program, following previous production orders from the same customer, the company said.
The self-contained sensing subsystems are used in threat-detection platforms to identify concealed metallic and non-metallic threats. Multiple units are integrated into each detection platform to capture sensor data. Mobix said the systems are designed and manufactured in the United States.
"A demanding customer trusted us to design a complex sensing subsystem; we proved it out, and now they have come back with a production order in excess of $1 million," CEO Phil Sansone said in a statement.
Mobix Labs is a U.S.-based supplier of electronic components and connectivity solutions for aerospace, defense, communications and mission-critical applications. The company operates subsidiaries including EMI Solutions and RaGE Systems out of its headquarters in Irvine, California.
