Quantum X Labs Inc. (NASDAQ: QXL) announced the launch of a multi-dimensional quantum cybersecurity architecture program through its QuantumQ Security operation, the company said.
Headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel, Quantum X Labs structured the program around three security dimensions. The Detect function aims to identify anomalous activity and potential attacks. Encrypt focuses on protecting information confidentiality. Verify is designed to establish authenticity, integrity and ownership.
The company identified specific technology programs within the portfolio, including LayerQake and Qatacomb, alongside verification technologies. Each sits at a different stage of research, development, validation and intellectual-property activity, Quantum X Labs said. It cautioned that further theoretical validation, simulation, prototype development and testing may be required before any individual technology or an integrated platform reaches commercialization.
The move is closely tied to the appointment of Yossi Cohen, former director of Israel’s Mossad, who serves as president of the company’s Scientific Advisory Board. Cohen’s role is aimed at expanding operations into defense, aerospace, homeland security and critical-infrastructure markets, according to the company.
Prof. Nir Sharon, chief technology officer, said: "Quantum computing is forcing the cybersecurity industry to reconsider some of its most fundamental assumptions. Our objective with QuantumQ Security is not simply to adapt yesterday's security architecture to tomorrow's computers."
Quantum X Labs and its subsidiaries operate across quantum technology, digital advertising, computing and enterprise artificial-intelligence solutions. Its Quantum X Labs Ltd. subsidiary develops quantum algorithms for the transportation, drug discovery and security segments.
