Merit Medical Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: MMSI) named Sheri Lewis executive vice president of global operations, effective August 31, 2026.
Lewis brings three decades of experience in global operations, manufacturing, and supply chain management to the role. Her prior senior positions include leadership roles at SkinHealth Systems Inc., Avantor, Medtronic, and Honeywell, where she oversaw manufacturing, distribution, logistics, supply chain, quality, regulatory, environmental health and safety, and operational excellence functions.
Martha G. Aronson, president and chief executive officer of Merit Medical, highlighted Lewis’s track record in leading complex organizations and building high-performing teams. The appointment follows the transition of Neil Peterson, current chief operating officer, to a senior advisor role. Peterson will remain with the company through March 5, 2027, concluding 32 years of service. He served as COO for the past four years and held various leadership positions across Merit’s operations and engineering functions during his tenure.
Merit Medical, founded in 1987, designs and manufactures proprietary medical devices for interventional, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures in cardiology, radiology, oncology, critical care, and endoscopy.
