MDpanel, a provider of expert medical opinions in the United States and Canada, announced on September 24, 2026, the appointment of Manish Nariwal as chief operating officer and Jim Andrews as chief client officer. Both executives report to chairman and chief executive officer Jason Erdell.
Nariwal will oversee the company's enterprise operations, including the Qualified Medical Evaluation and Independent Medical Examination business lines. He joined MDpanel in July 2026 after serving three years as chief operating officer at Ontellus, a records retrieval and claims intelligence company, and prior to that spent seven years at First Advantage, where he held senior vice president positions in global operations and product technology.
Andrews will lead the client organization, managing relationships with carriers, third‑party administrators, state and local governments, and attorneys. He comes from mea, where he served as chief executive officer for the Americas, and previously led revenue and customer‑facing functions at Carpe Data, a data and predictive analytics provider for property and casualty carriers.
In a statement, Erdell said Nariwal understands how to put technology to work inside complex healthcare and insurance operations, and that Andrews has dedicated his career to serving the insurance industry with a proven track record of delivering results that meet client expectations.
