Shares of Marti Technologies Inc. climbed 5% in pre-market trading on Wednesday after the Turkish mobility super app reported second-quarter revenue that exceeded analyst expectations and raised its full-year guidance.
The company, which operates a multi-service platform on the NYSE American under the ticker MRT, posted revenue of $20 million for the three months ended June 30, up 141% from $8.3 million in the same period a year earlier and surpassing the $16.69 million consensus among analysts. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization turned positive for the first time, reaching $2.9 million compared with a loss of $2.4 million in the prior-year period. Gross profit margin expanded to 77% from 57% a year ago.
Despite the top-line beat, Marti reported an adjusted loss per share of 15 cents, missing the analyst estimate of a 6-cent loss. The company attributed the shortfall to continued investment in growth initiatives. Operational metrics showed strong momentum, with total trips on the platform rising 73% year-over-year to 18.8 million and unique consumers increasing 76% to 2.4 million.
Marti raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to $85 million, up from previous projections and slightly below the analyst consensus of $85.03 million. The company also increased its full-year adjusted EBITDA outlook to $7 million. Founder and CEO Oguz Alper Öktem said the quarter marked a milestone, citing record gross profitability and the first positive adjusted EBITDA result while continuing to scale the marketplace.
The stock’s pre-market gain followed the announcement, reflecting investor approval of the revenue beat and improved profitability outlook despite the EPS miss.
