Dublin-based biotech company Malin Corporation plc reported an intrinsic equity value of €9.36 per share at June 30, 2026, up from €8.28 per share on August 24, according to a valuation update.
The total intrinsic equity value stood at €40.7 million at June 30, compared with €39.9 million at December 31, 2025. The increase was primarily attributed to foreign exchange movements and the unwinding of discount rates due to the passage of time.
Cash on hand declined to €11.6 million at June 30 from €12.9 million at year-end 2025, and further decreased to approximately €11.2 million by August 24. Corporate cash operating expenses for the first half of 2026 totaled €0.8 million.
Malin’s valuation shift also reflected developments tied to its portfolio companies. The firm’s interest in Poseida contributed to the upfront consideration of approximately $106.5 million received in January 2025, with potential additional payments of up to $47.3 million subject to milestone achievements. The contingent value rights (CVRs) tied to Poseida were estimated at €13.5 million as of August 24.
Conversely, Malin’s remaining contingent consideration related to Kymab was reduced to nil in the second half of 2026 following Sanofi’s July 24 announcement to discontinue development of Amlitelimab for moderate to severe atopic dermatitis.
The company is also engaged in restructuring discussions with investors in Viamet, which may include a direct investment in Mycovia.
