Lululemon Athletica Inc. (NASDAQ: LULU) announced that Chief Communications Officer Bill Chandler will leave the company on Sept. 4, the latest in a series of executive departures ahead of incoming CEO Heidi O’Neill’s scheduled start on Sept. 8.
Chandler’s exit follows the departure of the company’s chief AI and technology officer last week and Chief Strategy Officer Rachel Acheson’s earlier exit. The departures leave multiple senior positions open for O’Neill to fill as she prepares to take the helm.
O’Neill’s start date was delayed from April to September due to a non-compete agreement with her former employer, Nike Inc. (NYSE: NKE). The incoming CEO has signaled plans to reorganize Lululemon’s C-suite, including the potential creation of new executive roles.
