Webull Corporation reported a record second quarter, posting revenue of $198.8 million, a 51% increase from the same period last year and a 24% sequential rise. The gains followed the June 4 elimination of the Pattern Day Trader Rule, which allowed eligible customers to increase trading activity immediately.
Adjusted earnings per share reached $0.05, exceeding analyst expectations of $0.04. Net income attributable to the company totaled $24.4 million, a reversal from a net loss of $28.3 million in Q2 2025. Adjusted net income stood at $43.2 million, while adjusted operating profit hit $62.6 million, representing a 31.5% operating margin.
Trading-related revenue surged 66% year-over-year to $147.7 million. Equity notional volume climbed 73% to $279 billion, and options contracts volume rose 68% to 213 million contracts, a 34% increase from the prior quarter. Customer assets grew 79% to $28.5 billion.
The company repurchased and canceled 1.82 million Class A ordinary shares at an average price of $6.03 during the quarter. Webull, headquartered in St. Petersburg, Florida, operates in 18 markets and holds licenses across 35 jurisdictions. International funded accounts increased to approximately 810,000, with new launches in Spain, Argentina, and Colombia.
Shares of Webull, listed on NASDAQ under the ticker BULL, rose 7.5% in after-hours trading following an 8.95% gain during the regular session on Wednesday.
