The disposal occurred as Live Nation’s stock traded near its 52-week high of $189.25, with the company’s shares up 31% year-to-date. The stock movement follows a second-quarter 2026 report that exceeded Wall Street expectations, with earnings per share of $1.05 against a forecast of $0.66 and revenue of $7.7 billion versus an expected $7.56 billion.
Live Nation also reported selling 90 million fee-bearing tickets through Ticketmaster in the quarter, an 8% increase from the prior year. Analysts at Guggenheim, Benchmark, and Bernstein raised their price targets to $218, $215, and $215, respectively, while maintaining Buy ratings.
